Welcome! Wikis are websites that everyone can build together. It's easy!

Mobile 2.0 Company Directory

Welcome to the Mobile 2.0 Company Directory.

Following the response and feedback on "Understanding Mobile 2.0" article at Read/WriteWeb, I created this wiki space to start categorizing the so-called mobile 2.0 companies, the next generation mobile products and services coming to market.

I decided to use a wiki tool so companies can add their own information and keep it updated. You just need to sign-up to add your Mobile 2.0 company info page in the category that fits your activity (naviagation bar left), you may create a new category or sub-category if needed to add your company details.

You may add images, slideshows, video's, and RSS feeds as well, don't forget to add relevant tags. You can use this tool to keep the web community updated with your latest news, elevator pitches, presentations of new products/services, etc. Browse this wiki by category, by keywords (navigation bar left), subscribe to the wiki feeds on new pages added or updated, comments and news.

Thanks to Carlo for helping with the introduction texts.

Contact me rudy AT m-trends DOT org if you would like to become a writer/moderator, to help develop this wiki, and for any suggestion and comments.

I hope these pages will be usefull for the entire mobile value chain
, spread the word!

Cheers,

Rudy De Waele

You can achieve the same results only limited by how many bluetooth dongles you are using . Meaning using bluetooth proximity marketing software tools on a pc you can broadcast to up to 7 cell phones simultaneously , distributing what ever you want to distribute !

Bertrand How to develop & Port your mobile apps on time on 500+ phones ? 1 Sep 30 2007, 12:25 PM EDT by siddude

As every one in this industry know, porting a mobile application on a huge number of mobile phones is quite impossible if you do it by hand due to the large fragmentation of the devices.
Why don't you ask one of the leader in this industry to help you ? We provide a technology which helps developers to port their applications on a larhe number of JAVA ME devives, but we also offer, for those you can not or do not want to do it by their own some development, porting and testing services.

iotasphere Push Services and Reducing Number of Clicks 1 Jun 5 2007, 6:25 PM EDT by Anonymous
Thread started: Feb 21 2007, 12:46 PM EST  Watch
Quite often, I hear people telling the story its about reducing the number of clicks it takes to get to the piece of content. And I admit with previous companies, I have said this as part of the pitch. However I really do believe it is not about clicks, but TIME.
Users will click to their hearts content, but if the immediacy of the result is not there they lose interest. Push services may reduce the number of clicks, but if they dont reduce the overall time to get the information consumers want, I dont see their value.
