Framework consists of
 Mobile client (application written in JavaME) and Server side services.

The Idea: Anyone can use wide used web techniques
(xhtml and mashups) to create location enhanced services and application. Think about Locify client as a mobile internet browser with the possibility to send user’s location with the requests for the pages.

Framework is enhanced with ready to use add-ons, like navigation, mapping, transaction system, client-server synchronization, mapserver, geoserver etc. - to make it easy to create services for developers and add more compelling and geospecific possibilities and presentation to their users.

Locify is FREE (we plan to open source the java client).
