Luzia ResearchThis is a featured page

Luzia Research was founded in Feb 2006 by Al Briggs to investigate ways to provide support to students via their mobile phones.

Luzia works with educational institutions and directly with consumers in creating educational services and products that use the personalisation of their mobile phones.

Luzia is based in the UK on the campus of the Open University in Milton Keynes as part of the Milton Keynes Enterprise Hub.

To date Luzia has created two mobile services for consumers:

  • uHavePassed.com - helping students pass their UK driving theory test and preparing for other exams
  • getawayphrases - helping holiday makers pick up essential key language in the week before a break
And works with educational institutions linking their VLE systems with the mobile phones of their students.

You can find out more about mobile learning on the luzia website : http://luziaresearch.com
