Who are we?

We're a group of mobile technology experts based in Sweden and Luxembourg. Rebtel is an innovative company focused on bringing you the future of mobile telephony. We’re here to help you make cheaper, better, and easier calls to the world – global calls at local rates. Our ethos is that we won’t promise what we can’t deliver, and that we’ll always deliver what we promise.

So what do we promise?

To take the phony out of telephony. To offer the best, smartest, and most up-to-date ways of making international mobile phone calls – without any hidden clauses, small print, and secret charges.
Like all companies, Rebtel also has its terms and conditions, rules and regulations, and other notices that may apply at one time or another. They’re all on our website should you wish to see them.

Why are we doing this?

Because we can. We’re in this business because you’re paying too much to make international mobile phone calls. We’re so passionate and inspired by our services, we’ve fallen in love with it. Now, it’s our job to help you fall in love, too.

How did we get here?

We worked our way. We've employed an inspired staff with lots of experience from the mobile phone business, and a lot of technical know-how. This is how we realised that there was an opportunity to offer this new service to the market, and how we managed to make it happen. We’re quite proud of this, but if you want to know just how proud, we reckon actions speak louder than words. Just try the different Rebtel services, and see for yourself. Why should you believe us?

Because our services work. If you try them just once, you’ll understand how we can be so sure of ourselves. We could talk about the Rebtel model forever, but at the end of the day, our services are the only arguments we need. Trying is believing, and when you start making global calls at local costs, it will be even more than believing. It will be a new way of calling the world, at a fraction of what you pay today, without having to talk to a computer screen, coming to grips with complicated price models, or buying a new phone.

Are we nuts?

Could be. But then again, probably not. We’re just a few people that sat down together around a table and worked out a better way of making international mobile phone calls. The first rule at that table was that nothing is impossible. The second: it if proves to be impossible, we’ll make it possible. The third: status quo is bad for you. Then it went on and on in that manner, with us trying out one idea after another until we had a solution that we thoroughly believe in – a new way of bringing people together, of making the world smaller, if you like. It's true that in the end it all boils down to making a phone call. But then again, that phone call might be the beginning of the rest of your life. If you think that’s nuts, then maybe we are as well.

Is this for real?

Very much so. We believe life is too short to do things the way they have always been done. We don’t think that it’s okay to overcharge for international mobile phone calls.
